Bug Description
Due to bug #1023145, I decided to try to compile the bcmwl driver myself, so I downloaded it from the broadcom website and during make I get:
$ make
KBUILD_NOPEDANTIC=1 make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build M=`pwd`
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/
Wireless Extension is the only possible API for this kernel version
Using Wireless Extension API
LD /home/pmatos/
CC [M] /home/pmatos/
CC [M] /home/pmatos/
/home/pmatos/
compilation terminated.
make[2]: *** [/home/
make[1]: *** [_module_
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/
make: *** [all] Error 2
It seems to me this is related to the same root problem as bug #993506.
