Bug Description
Hi,
I am facing this bug on openerpV6.1, normally when we create customer or orders from the magento frontend a new email is sent to the customer but when we do the same in openerp no mail is sent from magento. If I am doing some wrong configuration setting then pls let me know.

Sorry for the late answer.
Do you mean that you are creating sale orders for the magento shop from OpenERP? As far as I know, this won't work, as there is no way to export such sale order from OpenERP to Magento. Same thing for partners.
The usual setup is to let users register in Magento and create their Sale Orders there, then import them to OpenERP. Then OpenERP will update the Sale Order status in Magento and this will generate the email sending by Magento.
