Dash/Hud doesn't work with fullscreen applications anymore

Bug Description
To reproduce:
Open Firefox
Press F11 (To go into fullscreen)
Press Alt
-- Hud does not appear.
Even worse...
If you try and exit full screen after trying to open the hud it will not work.
It also made my firefox a bit buggy feeling, flashing and acting funny.
Same problem with the Dash.

Are you testing with precise, quantal or development branches?
If quantal or development branches then this is bug 1024911.
