Now I was trying to remove the HP Toolbox from the Add/Remove menu. It crashed.

Thanks for your bugreport.

Can you please run gnome-app-install in a terminal window and try to reproduce the crash again? It should print out some debug information then. Please attach this information to this report. I'm not able to reproduce this problem, so I need your help :)

Exactlly the same problem here. With "Show all available apps" activated and trying to click foobillard it gives me this every time.

It seems to crash no matter which app I try to install.

Maybe it has to do with gnome-compiz that I tried to remove but it refuses to be removed and blocks all other operations. Everything stops on gnome-compiz, both sudo apt-get remove and synaptic. Tried different apt-get commands to get it fixed but this is quite stubborn ;) I guess I'm just not using the right commands to solve this.

I am trying to remove the Nvidia new driver(s) and it will not let me. I wanted to remove this new driver and add the legacy Nvidia driver package. but it keeps crashing.
