with the apt-get command i got this error

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug in Ubuntu.

It looks like you have a previous install of tomcat6 which you removed rather than purged and then remove the configuration files manually.

Please try purging tomcat6 and re-installing; this should resolve your issue.
