Bug Description
Because I can't seem to get this Samba thing working, NitroShare looked like a really handy tool to transfer files between my desktop and laptop without the hassle of a small USB flash drive. So first of all, thank you for making this program :)
That said though, it lacks some much wanted functionality. My first attempt, copying a whole bunch of wallpaper images to my laptop, worked just fine. Sent from the desktop and instantly received on the laptop. Then I decided to copy some music as well. I have my music in a one CD-one directory structure. I first tried to simply drag the folders I wanted to the share box. That simply didn't work at all. I think NitroShare treated the directory itself as a file, and couldn't send that. It didn't even look at the contents of the directories.
After trying that a couple of times, I decided to go the cumbersome route of tarring everything I wanted together into one file. Can't mess up the directories and such if they're inside the file, right? Well, it sort of worked in that NitroShare did send the tar file, but it was again a failure because it received only part of it. The original file was ~4GB, and what arrived was a file of only ~47MB. It contained the last few entries in the tar file, so apparently most of the beginning was cut off for some reason. Repeats gave the same result, so it wasn't a random network error either.

Yes, this is correct, NitroShare does not currently support the ability to transfer entire folders from one machine to another. However, this feature is definitely an extremely high priority and is actually the next feature scheduled to be added to NitroShare. I will very likely have it implemented by the end of this week - if not, definitely by the end of the contest.
As for the problem of transferring large files, I will certainly have to look into that.
Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report - I really appreciate it.
