Bug Description

okular /usr/share/doc/texmf/pgf/pgfmanual.pdf.gz # from package pgf
takes about 100s on a slow machine (700MHz PIII, 512MB RAM).

This used to be about 30s with okular from Kubuntu 9.04:
Qt: 4.8.1
KDE: 4.8.3 (4.8.3)
Okular: 0.8.2

The factor is roughly the same on a Celeron 3GHz (1GB RAM). It does not seem to be a memory/swap problem.
