Bug Description

On 11.04 and earlier Ubuntu, when you clicked Convert, the clock at bottom left started counting down. On 12.04, it counts up untill I stop it. Be it one minute or fifteen minutes, with no converting at all. It does show a file of the converted, but it is empty. I have Googled problem, nothing. Checked bugs, could not find anything related. Checked SoundConverted site, could not fine answer. SoundKonverter works, but I like SoundConverter better. Have uninstalled and reinstalled.

Same problem on Fedora ? Wow.
I'm also unable to convert from flac files.
I need to find a couple hours to check, hopefully this week.

Yes, that's Fedora 17 here plus gstreamer-ffmpeg from RPM Fusion. SoundConverter 2.0.3 with post-2.0.3 commits for batch mode.

ubuntu 12.04, 32 bit
soundconverter version 2.0.3 does not convert flv files.
(adds them to list and displays filename, but does not convert.)

For some reason, someone removed the ability to convert .flv to .mp3 from the SoundConverter I was using in 10.04 when I "upgraded" to 12.04.

This is the principle use of the program! and now it is gone.

Also affects me, Ubuntu 12.04. WinFF v1.4.1 has no issues for me converting batch .flv files to .mp3, while SoundConverter 1.5.4 displays 'loading tags...' above each file name when adding a .flv file to the list to be converted. Does this while adding singly or multiple via drag-and-drop or 'Add File' or 'Add File' option.

Oddly, when started fresh, an .avi file will load right, but after adding an .flv that does NOT, then the .avi which worked before has 'loading tags...' above the name again.
