Does it crash directly after you launch "lastfm" - before it displays any user interface?

I cannot confirm this, but for me it currently is stucked at "Connecting to server..." after I've started "lastfm".

I'm setting the status to incomplete. Please try to add additional info (about the reported crash), if you can provide any.

With Gutsy (the Ubuntu development branch), lastfm does not halt at "Connecting to server..." for me anymore. Gutsy currently has lastfm 1.3.0.62-2 (Feisty has 1.1.90-4).
Please note, that this another bug itself and should get reported separately.

Changed in lastfm:
status: New → Incomplete

This looks like it's related to how 1.1.90 uses the RtAudio library.
RtAudio wants to hog the sound card for itself. When it can't, the
client will complain that it can't find a device or it will simply
crash. This got resolved in 1:1.1.3.0-1.

In fact, most of the bugs filed against lastfm appear to be related to
this. Is there a way to tag these as fixed in a later version?
