You can use syncpackage tool from ubuntu-dev-tools to perform self-service syncs, as you have upload rights to the package.

In any case, you don't need to file sync requests yet for cases where we have no Ubuntu modifications; we're before Debian import freeze. telepathy-gabble was included in the auto-sync I did last night.
