Bug Description

After the latest thunderbird upgrade on 12.04 things like imap stopped working.
From my logs it looks like a tunderbird upgrade from 12.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 to 13.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 .
If I use synaptic to force the version back to 11.0... (precise) then everything works again.

Symptoms:
1) It seems that it can't connect to my imap servers anymore gmail and company mail
2) It keeps on asking for my password for my gmail calendar and does not seem to be able to use the password store any more.

I tried to disable ipv6 to see if that helped, but no it didn't.

I tried to run in safe mode, but the problem is still there:
thunderbird -safe-mode

In the error console, I get a million of these:
2012-06-28 13:45:46 gloda.datastore ERROR Async queryFromQuery error: 1: near ")": syntax error
There are other errors too, but the above error appears so rapidly that I can't copy it (there is no way to pause the console :(

I tried now with the new package: 14.0+build1-0ubuntu0.12.04.1
but it is still broken for me: retrieving messages from imap just hangs
and on startup it asks me every time for my gmail google calender password
