Excuse me but your description is quite bad. Install event module -> I get it. And then what? "select any partner" is very vague.

Could you please explain the precise steps to reproduce it? By that I mean explain each menu element, each button, etc...

         There is a problem in google_map addons javascript file. Where you have to remove one parameter 'callback' from maps api url

This issue occurs because there is no placeholder specify for google map in event module's form view.One placeholder must need to render google map at particular place.

 eg. <div class = "oe_google_map" style="height: 200px; width: 200px;"> </div> in form view of event module.

In current google map module it find class "oe_google_map" and render map there.
