Bug Description

Hello,

this is a feature request

I think it would be a good idea to add a filter to display a specific image type.

I have a lot of pictures and all my pictures (NEF and JPEG) are tagged.
Sometimes I just to need to find a post-treated picture, sometimes I need to find a "new" picture to work with (so a NEF).

I think a menu like the "Sort" one is a good idea. But the "picture type" menu must be in a special place (want to say not implemented in an existant one).

I don't know if I have well explained my idea -_-

If not ask me questions ;)

Thanks.

right now you can just type .NEF or .JPEG in the search box (the
default search is not case sensitive, unless you enclose in quotes).
But I could also add something to the interface. I have been thinking
about adding a menu bar that could be a place to put such options
(especially because of the way ubuntu is moving with its global menu
interface)

The search syntax is actually quite rich, but I have never gotten
around to documenting it properly.

Hello,

ok, I didn't know the searchbar solution. But I don't know how to combine it with a tag or word search.

I think a "menu" for that will be better and efficient. You probably can add this "menu" to the right of the searchox? Well this is just an idea.

I'm sure you will find the good solution ;)
