Bug Description

When hitting the brightness keyboard hot keys a notification comes up displaying the the brightness is changing; however the actual screen brightness never changes.

By going into NVidia's control panel I'm able to manually change the screen brightness.

Just a note, did you try passing kernel argument 'acpi_backlight=vendor'? In some cases, this solves the problem.
