Bug Description

Installer App : Synaptic Package Manager
Application being installed : gnus

gnus had xemacs as a dependency (I don't know why, though... I use GNU Emacs, not XEmacs). During the install, it threw an error. That's all I can contribute :-|

I guess you guys alread know stuff like my Ubuntu Version and all... If not, I'm using Lubuntu Precise Pangolin (12.04)

Thanks.

The attached DpkgTerminalLog.gz contains errors for easypg and ecb. The latter is a known problem, and apparently the real issue here, although perhaps the easypg case should be investigated too. For the time being, I will mark this as a duplicate of the ecb bug; but if you feel it's important, feel free to reassign to easypg.

Oh, you could also consider submitting the gnus dependency as a bug; it certainly should not require xemacs21.
