Bug Description

After installing sqliteman from software center, it's icon appears on the dash. If I use the dash icon to start the application, everything works as expected.

If I start sqliteman by searching it out from the dash home menu, a new icon is spawned just below the original one for the running application.

Seems like sqliteman has two desktop files. Is this really the case?

Does running the command "sqliteman" from a terminal also result in a new icon, right after install?

Also, this should get fixed with a reboot, but what matters more is identifying the problem so it doesn't happen again.

I rebooted dozens of times since installing, and the bug still persists.

Also, running sqliteman from terminal does not result in a new icon. Looks like the bug only appears when I use the dash icon.

Sorry for the long delay in getting attention again on this issue.

I tried to reproduce this issue in Ubuntu 13.10 and I couldn't. It would be great if you could try it and if you see this issue again please reopen the report by marking its "status" to "confirmed" again.

I could not reproduce the bug in Ubuntu 13.10 Beta 1.

This fact doesn't affect the bug's presence in 12.04 _LTS_, however.

Yes, but in that case somebody should file for a SRU, the procedure is explained here:

sqliteman is basically the same version in precise and saucy, the problem must have been elsewhere
