What do you mean by "Shutdown is done by virsh"?

Are you expecting virt-manager to change the settings at shut down if you use a completely different tool to actually do the shut down?

Please give detailed steps on how to reproduce this issue. Thanks!

Exactly that. I was under the impression this is possible. Can't you share settings, send signals or whatever?

I am unable to reproduce this.

I start a VM. I change memory options. I get a dialog saying that changes will be done after shutdown.
In a console, I do "virsh destroy myvm", and when I look at virt-manager, the changes have been applied.

Please give the exact steps you are using that make you see this problem.

Thanks!
