Today this scenario occurred:

opening boot-repair, updating

Less messages than yesterday, but now missing file: os-uninstaller.png (I couldn't find that file on disk either)

then I typed
boot-repair -v

I wanted to see which version of boot-repair I'm running.
Then during that terminal session, boot-repair runned without messages.
Even when I left out the -v option, the messages remained absent...

In a new terminal session however, os-uninstaller was missing again.

*) To improve communication about software in development, a version number should be available.

*) /usr/share/boot-sav/removegrub.png and /usr/share/boot-sav/packconfig.png are rather silly files in my opinion, kind of screendumps of a special situation. But then, I don't know the use of these pictures/
