Bug Description
I installed Apache2 then mysql-server then php5 and phpmyadmin. Localhost shows apache installed, but php is not functioning. I then tried installing apache2-mod-php5 and install failed.

Thank you very much for submitting this bug report.
Looks like for some reason the package php5-common wasn't installed or it's not showing on your "PHPInstalledMo dules.txt" file.
If you don't mind I'd need you to check that the package is installed, it is a dependency for libapache2-mod-php5 and the error it's giving means that this package wasn't installed before trying to install libapache2- mod-php5.
Can you try to run "apt-get -f install" and see what does it say? If the error persists could you please provide the full apt-get log and mark the bug again as "New" so it can be reviewed.
