Bug Description

Sparkleshare does not start automatically on my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, 64 bit Desktop. Sparkleshare is supposed to add an autostart entry when it is launched for the first time.

However it only generates an empty file sparkleshare.desktop in my .config/autostart/ folder. I also tried to delete this file and restart sparkleshare, again only an empty sparkleshare.desktop is generated.

Same here using 12.04 64 bit with latest upgrades as of this comment. Can be worked around with the following command:
cp /usr/share/applications/sparkleshare.desktop ~/.config/autostart/
