Restored windows are completely white

Bug Description
When restoring a window previously minimized to the launcher the content isn't displayed, instead a white-box is shown (see screenie).
Giving focus to another window and switching back to the buggy one resolves the problem.
This behavior is found in Terminal, Firefox, Rhythmbox, VirtualBox, ....
I have the same problem on a laptop so is not related to a particular hw or config.
I'm using unity 3d, nvidia video card.
If any other info is required just ask.
