Should a group definition be removed when the corresponding local group object
is removed?

This issue is to discuss the possible implications and use cases and to define
the new behaviour for upcomming Silva versions.

This issue was added to the buglist in Silva Issue Tracker in July 2004 and then transferred to this wishlist. I still have an open request in our ticket tool and I'm being annoyed by my superiors because it's far the oldest request in our organization. Is there any chance that this will be solved in one of the future Silva versions within the next 2 years?

Basically this issue looks like it was meant to start a discussion. There was never a conclusion (or even the start of a discussion.) Issues with the status of wishlist tend not to get priority anyway. Groups are now available via PAS. This bug doesn't exists anymore since the old Groups product is not used anymore.
