Search field should receive focus on application start

Bug Description
When I start the application I would like to begin typing once the application is ready. Currently I have to wait for the app to start, then click in the search field, then type my word.
I will double-check (don't have a Mac in front of me) but I think the Dictionary.app on OSX puts focus in the search field on start. Not that you have to follow Apple like lemmings, but that's the most elegant simple dictionary application I've ever used.
