Transparency on rotating cube not working

Bug Description

I set the transparency of the cube faces to 10-20, so the backsides of windows (3D) can be seen.

This has stopped working today.

Also the desktop has "dissappeared" meaing no icon showing or right mouse menu. The background (default) is still shown.

This occurred after update.
