Bug Description

lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Release: 12.04

I think it is an problem with bluetooth or pulseaudio/bluetooth.

What you expected to happen:

Bluetooth Headset and GPS-Logger works without problems via bluetooth.

What happened instead:

The data transfer from bluetooth headset and GPS-Logger stops

I use a Lenovo Thinkpad X121e E-300 with Arctic Sound P311 Bluetooth Headset and Blumax GPS-4044 GPS-Logger.

First I use the Headset alone with Rythmbox to hear music. From time to time the music stops. Sometimes I have a crash repoted in Bug #981239.

To resolve the Problem I press the Call-Button on my headset and the music starts again with some glitch.

When I use the Headset and GPS-Logger together the data transfer from the GPS-Logger stops at the same time when the music on my headset stops. Both transfers continue when I press the Call-Button on the Headset.

I use xgps to show the GPS-Data from the GPS-Logger.

To control I connect the GPS-Logger via BT747 software and USB. The GPS-Logger work and don't stop loggin. Only the data transfer via bluetooth stops.

When I use the GPS-Logger alone I have this problem not.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1012959/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this bug as a bug in linux.

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs.
