Bug Description
Example of use:
I'm trying to achieve a similar effect to that of a colour-blindness test - a cloud of circles with some a different colour:
http://
I want to approximate a letter shape, so I want to use whole circles, some of which will go outside the bounds of the font. I don't want to cut bits off circles, so using the letter shape as a clipping mask isn't appropriate.
Presently, it is a laborious task selecting the circles I want, using selection boxes and the (excellent) touch selection tool.
The ideal solution would be selecting all objects which overlap the font shape on that layer.
I've encountered a few other situations when this selection technique would have saved a lot of clicking or where I wouldn't have missed an object from my selection (usually due to a filter effect making the object much larger than it appears).
I think there might be other creative applications opened up by creating a path specifically to select other paths.
Thanks for your time!
