dark and light themed b&w icons

I'm offering to create Ubuntu style icons for the Unity bar..in the same style as the other dark/light icons

If the icons could be used other places, that would be good..

This is what I would deliver:

128x128
64x64
32x32
24x24

Screenlets Individual
HD Master Vector Image
256x256
128x128
64x64
32x32
24x24

all of this times 2, one for a dark theme and one for a light theme. Let me know if you want to go on something like this!

Do you mean for Screenlets Manager or every individual screenlet?

There are already some mono light/dark icons, I think they were installed by default, but something could be broken there.

Are installed (see debian/screenlets.install):

If they should be installed to some other directories, we can easily fix that, but suggestion where it should be, is appreciated if you want it to be fixed quickly.

I suppose updating/restyling the icons themselves is appreciated too.

I noticed that the icon is now showing up with the light/dark theme icon.

I think it looks improvable. however. The top left corner from sitting back and looking at the screen looks like a blur, and the clock is just too small to tell what it is - it looks more like a click indicator.

I would suggest removing more detail from the icon, and making the clock portion bigger and maybe inverting the clock (black face with white hands) to give more contrast

This is from what I saw on my Eee - it may look different on other displays.

btw, thanks for your comment. I realized after posting this that showing is better than telling. I will try to make an example png icon and then either the maintainer can run with it or we can try rolling out some new icons.

If you are creating example icons, please use SVG vector format and use the same style/colors etc as Ubuntu official SVG icons use. Me too, I am not satisfied with present icons, I created them myself by removing details from the old icons and redrawing some stuff. It is not so easy to represent idea of desktop widget framework as a minimalistic black/white icon.
