Bug Description

Having seen the mockup of Pantheon greeter by DanRabbit http://danrabbit.deviantart.com/#/d4xz9pa and a video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6QKjnyfck4 I realised that if a user has a wallpaper that has a whitish colour in the area where the names of the inactive users are, these names would be very difficult to read. The same would go for the time are.

Here's an image with some explanation: http://i.imgur.com/aFpcB.png .

The same thing had happened in the Unity greeter with me and it would best be avoided in Luna.
One way of avoiding this problem would be to have a semi-transparent layer of black on top of the wallpaper but below the text so that the text can still be seen clearly.

The text has a black contour. Isn't that enough to make it visible on white backgrounds? Sorry for making assumptions and please know I don't have much experience in design, but I am just wondering.

You get a big smooth shadows now, which will make the text readable even on a pure white background.
