Bug Description
This occurs on Kubuntu 12.04 with polkit-kde-1 0.99.0-3ubuntu5, but also was present on Kubuntu 11.10.
When there are multiple users with administrative privileges and I need to install new packages or similar, I get a confirmation dialog where I can select a user and then type my password.
Expected: If one of the allowed users for the action is the one currently logged in (= owning the display session), it should be preselected and the cursor put right into the password box.
Observed: Now I have to use the mouse to select the right user before I can start typing.
(Strangely, trying to select the right user by keyboard puts the cursor immediately into the password field, even if I'm not yet finished selecting a user.)
A screenshot of the situation (with 11.10) is in my related question on Ask Ubuntu:

(I guess this should be an upstream bug/feature request, but I didn't manage to find an upstream bug tracker. Sorry.)
Alternatively, the dialog could remember the last selected user and preselect it again.
