Bug Description

gphoto2 reports errors when reading from my Canon EOS 5D. This used to work well prior to upgrading to Precise.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Connect the camera to the computer and switch it on,
2. If Shotwell starts, stop it immediately (you might have to force it to quit),
3. Run the following command:
gphoto2 --debug --list-files
4. gphoto2 reports error -114: 'OS error in camera communication'
5. Re-run the same command a few minutes later
6. gphoto2 reports error -102: 'Corrupted data'
