Bug Description

Some websites displayed in Firefox don't display the main text (like white text on white background), the same applies for some texts of emails, as well as displaying source code of emails (no headers, nothing visible). However by blindly pressing Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, and opening the text editor, pressing Ctrl-V, I can read all the missing text. Tried to upgrade Firefox to new version, but it didn't help. Displaying the same website in Chrome is OK.

Using Linux Mint 13 "maya" w/ MATE 32bit, with proprietary NVidia graphic card driver (295.49, Quadro FX 770M) and Gnome visuals turned on (shadows around windows)

Attaching a screenshot, showing (a) the same website in Firefox and Chrome, (b) message and source code display in Thunderbird, seeing nothing, and the text of the message copied blindly to the text editor
