RDP: Unable to connect to RDP server

Connecting to the same server with the MS RDP client works fine.

The message is:
Unable to connect to RDP server 192....

using remmina-plugin-rdp 1.0.0-1ubuntu6.1 on amd64

edit / advanced / security = negotiate is the problem. setting this to RDP makes it work.

the server is a 2008 R2 Standard, SP1

I have the same issue.
Ubuntu 12.04 64bit.
Windows 7 workstation 64bit.

"edit / advanced / security = negotiate is the problem. setting this to RDP makes it work" helped.

Thanks Viacheslav. Security=RDP has fixed it for me too. This has been driving me crazy as I've been connecting to this one 2008 server for ages and then all of a sudden I couldn't but other 2008 servers were ok.

Adam Groszer, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue with the latest version of remmina in Precise, or a later version of Ubuntu?

If so, please execute the following via a terminal as it will gather necessary debugging information:
apport-collect 1008369

As well, please provide click-for-click steps to reproduce this problem.
