Bug Description
I log in and there's no wallpaper and no battery, network, or bluetooth indicators for quite some time. This is very very bad.

The problem is that Cerbere doesn't notify the session manager that it's up and running, which causes gnome-session to wait for 10 seconds before proceeding with startup. Looks like there's no way this can be solved sanely on the OS side, see https:/ /live.gnome. org/SessionMana gement/ GnomeSession
