Bug Description

We should better visually distinguish each workspace when we switch between them. For example, when switching workspaces on OS X, there is a black line between workspaces. This especially makes sense when switching between two full screen windows.

Would we want it to be black, or do we want our own "underneath" texture, like Apple's linen? If the latter, then we need to standardize it for use in the workspace switcher and elsewhere. If the former, then that's great, too. :)

summary: - put a black line between workspaces
