Bug Description
This has been a bug since 11.10 at least. Booting up, I get put into a text shell rather than the lightdm greeter.
The problem is, the nv kernel hasn't loaded yet so lightdm fails. If you look at the attached /etc/init/
It would be great to see this fixed by 12.10. The bug has been around for way too long and is a critical one.
