cost of sale with changed uom account record bug oerp 6.0.4

I'm getting the following error, hope you can give a hand:

i have a product set with uom= unit and its cost is $5.00 (per unit) and sale price equal $10
i created another uom called box and consists of 10 units

while selling I choose 1 box expecting the system to convert it to units so it would equal 10 products.
for the sell price it works fine, sale price sets to 10 * 10 = $100

I then perform the sale and confirm the invoice etc.
I also process the dispatch order and all looks fine, 10 of my products are subtracted from the inventory.

when I go and see the account records I then see that I have a cost price account record but instead of being for 10 products (10 * $5 = $50) the record reflects it for just 1 product ($5)

seems like the calculation is made using the product template uom instead of the one I selected on the sale order.
