Bug Description

gksu gedit /etc/dafault/grub

Changed

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"

to

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash fsprotect"

sudo update-grub

sudo reboot

After rebooting DHCP client does'nt work.

To resolve it I had to restart in not protected mode, install apparmor-utils package and

sudo aa-complain dhclient3

Restarted the system in protected mode and DHCP client worked.

Solution based on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/aufsRootFileSystemOnUsbFlash#Apparmor

This bug is similar that happened with Karmic:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fsprotect/+bug/477012

In conclusion I think the package needs apparmor-utils as dependency and aa-complain command at its installation script.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/lethe/ is a package very similar to fsprotect.

lethe is capable to do aa-complain if apparmor-utils are installed.
