Bug Description
I am using unity 5.12-0ubuntu1.
Clicking on the launcher icon of an app which is open on another workspace normally moves the user to the workspace the window is open on. However, it does not switch the user to that workspace if the window was maximised and moved to another workspace while in the workspace switcher.
1: Maximise a window in the top-left workspace.
2: Switch to Workspace Switcher view.
3: Grab somewhere in bottom half of the maximised window and drag the window upwards.
4: Observe the window no longer being visible, after the cursor reaches about halfway up that workspace. Release.
5: Observe the outline of the triangle next to the icon on the launcher, showing the window is on another workspace.
6: Leave workspace switcher view.
7: Click on that application's launcher icon.
8: Observe nothing happening.
Note: It is the same if you grab the right side of the window and drag to the left and other variations, it just has to be dragging 'off the top/bottom/a side of the screen', wrapping around to another workspace in that fashion. I hope this is clear enough.
Expected: clicking on application icon with the outline of the triangle usually switches the user to the workspace the desired window is on.
