Bug Description

On both live and installed quantal daily build as of 30 May cannot set display configuration:

Failed to apply configuration: %s
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: No such interface `org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.XRANDR_2' on object at path /org/gnome/SettingsDaemon/XRANDR

This is on Acer Aspire 5253 notebook with HP 1710 second monitor attached. Works just fine on Oneiric and also Quantal as of last install a few days ago.

Thank you for your bug report, does it happen on a precise liveCD as well? gnome-settings-daemon didn't change since precise so it's a bit weird...
