Bug Description

Hey, I'm really loving Linux Mint(13,Cinnamon,x86_64), it completely did what I thought it would have issues with... booting up in UEFI mode and working (99%)correctly on my new computer and hardware.(Info at bottom)

Although.

Before OS installation, My MB can be set to do the iGPU(Intel HD Graphics) or Auto(PEG or PCI, which it sets to PCI).

Bug 1: I had to boot up on iGPU, reason being, attempting to boot under my External GPU always resulted in an error saying something like "EFI Intel HD Graphics conflict with nouveau" and the video locks up and the computer stops booting up into Live.
I had to boot under Compatibility Mode to even get this, if not I don't get any display at all, which most likely would show the same error.

Bug 1, part 2: With iGPU and it boots up, and installs without any issues what-so-ever. I look under Additional Drivers(after getting updates and rebooting of course) and it doesn't show me having to install my external video card's Proprietary drivers(I did the lspci command and it correctly shows my External GPU and it's HD audio.

After OS installation, I had to manually install them through the Software Manager, and after rebooting in Auto(PCI) it works like a charm.

Computer Info:
MB: ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM B3 (UEFI Intel/ASUS EZ bios, updated to the latest)
CPU: i5 2500 + Intel HD Graphics
GPU: GTX 460 1GB
