I tried to upgrade Ubuntu Server 11.10 to 12.04 LTS with "do-release-upgrade" but the upgrade process failed with error "package samba4 4.0.0~alpha18.dfsg1-4ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 126"

Update: I managed to complete the upgrade to 12.04 by running "chmod +x /usr/share/samba/setoption.pl" followed by "dpkg --configure -a".
