Bug Description

Many netbooks only support the 1024x600 resolution but many windows (such as many of the preferences ones) exceed this size so the bottom of it is not visible

Same here. I have 2 Acer AOD250s with the same screen resolution(1024x600). With most Linux distros I run into this issue.
They need to make a way to support scrolling down, or some way of accessing windows exceeding the primary monitor's maximum resolution.

I recently switched to Mint because of it's working performance (much better than Ubuntu) and run into this problem from the start. There are even settings menus that can't be accessed. I tried to solve this with compiz, but I guess it doesn't work with Mint (I didn't try other options, just workspaces). So there should be an option of getting vertical workspaces (Linux Mint 15 that I'm using right now uses keyboard combo Ctrl+Alt+Down for showing opened windows, I guess). That's the only thing that frustrates me in Mint, actually. ;)
