Bug Description

I started having issues with web page rendering in different browsers - mostly graphics gets scrambled as well as CSS broken and parts of pages are simply jacked up. Some of it get's fixed by refresh, but some doesn't. I believe the problems started on 5/24/12 after an update. Also my session crashes from time to time and I get logged out without being able to save any of my work.

I tried to activate a post-release update ATI driver in the Additional Drivers, but it failed. I wanted to purge the existing fglrx driver and install the post-release updates, but purging process failed as well. From time to time I'm getting some failure messages, and the last one prompted me to submit this issue.
