Bug Description

Current compute pollster for disk IO and probably CPU time only supports libvirt. It should support all hypervisors supported by nova.

Would it be possible to split this bug into multiple bugs? I think the work to support xen/hyper-v/vmware requires different environment setup and even different license to test.

I assign this bug to myself, but I can only work on xen support because I don't have hyper-V/VMWare environment to test.

There is a bp in https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ceilometer/+spec/non-libvirt-hw already. I created new one for https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ceilometer/+spec/xenapi-support. I'd mark it as a depency for https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ceilometer/+spec/non-libvirt-hw . Nick, can you help on it?

This bug is not specific enough to be useful. We now also have Hyper-V support. Closing it.
