Bug Description
Hello,
I'm using Xbindkeys to make Xvkbd send the keyboard shortcuts Alt+Left/Alt+Right if I press Button 8 or 9 on my mouse (this key combo goes back/forward in Firefox, I'm using this Xbindkeys-
Under Precise, sometimes (but not always!) pressing the mouse buttons with Xbindkeys being active in the background reveals the HUD for the currently focused application, as if only Alt was pressed! From my point of view, the HUD clearly should not appear if Xvkbd sends a key combination consisting of Alt and some other key, so this undesired behaviour looks like a bug for me.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Xbindkeys and Xbkbd
2. Create an .xbindkeysrc like the one attached that binds the Alt+Left/Right combos (possible needs to be altered according to the mouse being used)
3. Start Xbindkeys
4. Try to browse folders in Nautilus or web sites in Firefox.
5. Press the mouse buttons to go back and forth in folder hierarchie/web pages history.
Result: Sometimes (but not always!) the HUD appears allthough Alt key has not been pressed solely.
Kind regards,
Jan
