Seems the commenting system does not work for me, it ate my last comment :-(

Anyway, removing the ~/.Skype folder fixed the crash for me.

Confirmed, definitely an issue.

100% reproducable when doing a video to video chat;

-Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (x64)
-Skype 4.2.0.13
-Logitech webcam via USB
