Possible problem with table saves

and msg1362 Marc reports a problem with the table editor
that I have a hard time reproducing (we need to test
more, though). I'll quote Marc here:

JW, could you walk through the table editor quickly tomorrow
and see whether it's all working? Perhaps this can be
done along with the soft line break checking as well --
I think we need to make sure everything is in order
before we release.

I did a walk through. So far without reproducing the
reported error of disapearing content on 'Save'. Can anyone
repoduce this with the current CVS version? Can this issue
be resolved?
