Unity launcher scrolls off the screen

It is possible to slide launcher icons off screen by simultaneously scrolling mouse wheel up and down.
Possible fix: set launcher's boundsBehavior property to Flickable.StopAtBounds.

Also setting flickDeceleration between 7000-10000 helps with this, but doesn't disable bouncing effect.

Is there a way to recover the launcher once it has accidentally scrolled offscreen?
This has happened to me several times, and the only solution I have found was to re-install unity, loosing all of my settings.
