hi Michael,

I can confirm the same thing here in LinuxMint 13 based on Ubuntu 12.04. The thing seem to be broken dependencies. I can install the package indicator-ubuntuone. But then I cannot install this package ubuntuone-indicator from this ppa-repository:

ppa:rye/ubuntuone-extras

I always get the message: depends on indicator-ubuntuone and if I press install it, then it wants to remove indicator-ubuntuone.

This is strange. This needs to be fixed. Because I would like to have a panel-applet for my Gnome-Shell.

Greetings

It would be good, if the Distribution LinuxMint could be added in the point "Also affects Distribution", because it also affects LinuxMint 13 current update-state.

The indicator adds itself to /etc/xdg/autostart so it will be started next time you log in.
ubuntuone-indicator is now a compatibility package only so only indicator-ubuntuone package should be installed.

Marking this as "Incomplete" since the indicator is supposed to start automatically and it does not clear from the bug report at what stage it fails.
