Bug Description

I have a Dell Inspiro m4050 notebook and installed ubuntu 12.04 LTS recently. I've tryed dconf-editor to edit the "Disable touchpad while typing" configuration, but it is already checked.

But, without any evident error, the touchpad still works while I'm typing. So I need to disable touchpad "tapping" to avoid errors while I'm typing.

I have a medium knowledge of linux and Ubuntu, but I don't know what logs to look for errors. dmesg seems alright and so the Xorg.0.log.

xserver-xorg-input-synaptics package details:

$ apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
